ISFD to name design contest winners during live broadcast with Furniture Today

HIGH POINT — The International Society of Furniture Designers will announce the winners of its inaugural Innovation + Design home furnishings design contest at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 21, during a live broadcast on Furniture Today’s Facebook page and Instagram feed.

The broadcast will be hosted by John Conrad, executive director at ISFD, Bill McLoughlin, editor in chief of Furniture Today. The original award program was scheduled to debut at the spring High Point Market but has been reinvented in virtual form following the market’s cancellation.

The juried and curated competition was open to ISFD members as well as members of the professional Maker/Designer community and post-secondary students. The winners of the competition will receive $1,000 for best of show, $500 for professional category winners and $250 for student category winners.
